Aircraft are huge and delicate relative to their weight. A fuselage weighs less than many an excavator, but takes up the entire width of the carriageway and reacts to every crosswind.

Helicopters travel covered and in one piece; fuselages are lifted on with spreader beams via the designated pick-up points. In both cases, success is decided by the loading, not the journey.
